Haeundae River Cruiser

There is no better season for yachting than early spring.  It would be even better if it was a sunny day, neither cold nor hot, and moderately windy.

Have you ever been on a yacht on a day like this?  There are three places to go yachting in Haeundae.

The first is Dongbaek Island Marina Bay. If you go here, you can experience yachting for a fee. It is said that after the COVID-19 crisis is over, people who want to experience yachting are flocking every weekend. It is also great for a date with lovers or a spring picnic with family.  Among the quirky people, there are couples who charter yachts to take wedding photos. The time required is 1 hour, the destination is a round trip to under Gwangan Bridge, the fare is 20,000~ 40,000KRW, and the type of yacht is a catamaran, also known as Ssangdongseon(쌍동선) in Korean.

This yacht is made up of two boats connected to the left and right, so there is very little shaking.  In other words, even people who ride a yacht for the first time rarely get seasick.  Of course, on days when the waves are a little high, some people sometimes get seasick.  If you are worried about motion sickness, it is best to ride about 2 hours after eating. If you are still worried, it is better to take motion sickness medication in advance.

Next, there is the Haeundae River Cruiser at Suyeonggang APEC Naru Park.  Here, too, you can experience yachting for an hour after boarding.

The last place is Suyeongman Yacht Marina.  This is where privately owned yachts dock.  In my case, my friend owns a yacht, so I often go on a yacht.

When is the best time to go sailing in Suyeong Bay?  It may be different for each person, but for me, the sunset tour was the best.

If you are a Busan citizen and have yet to experience yachting, I highly recommend it.  This weekend, visit Dongbaek Island Marina Bay or the river cruiser at Suyeong River.

마리나베이에서 요트 타보셨나요? 

이른 봄처럼 요트 타기 좋은 계절은 없다. 햇살 좋은 날, 춥지도 답지도 않고, 적당히 바람이 분다면 더욱 좋겠지요. 

당신은 이런 날 요트 타보셨나요? 해운대에서 요트 타는 곳은 세 곳입니다. 

첫째는 동백섬 마리나베이 입니다. 이곳에 가시면 유료로 요트 체험을 할 수 있답니다. 코로나 19 사태가 끝난 이후, 주말 마다 요트 체험을 하려는 사람들이 몰려온다고 합니다. 연인끼리 데이트, 가족끼리 봄소풍으로도 아주 좋습니다. 별난 사람 중에는 요트를 전세 내어 웨딩 촬영을 하는 커플도 있답니다.

 소요 시간은 1시간, 행선지는 광안대교 아래까지 왕복, 요금은   원, 요트 형식은 카타마란으로 일명 쌍동선이라고 합니다. 

이 요트는 두 척을 배를 좌우로 연결해놓은 형식으로 흔들림이 아주 적은 편입니다. 즉 요트를 처음 타는 사람도 멀미를 거의 하지 않는답니다. 물론 파도가 조금 높은 날이면 간혹 멀미하는 분들도 있지요. 멀미가 걱정되는 분은 식사 후 2시간쯤 뒤에 타는 게 좋고, 그래도 걱정되면 사전에 멀미약을 복용하는 게 좋아요.  

다음으로 수영강 APEC 나루공원에 있는 해운대 리버크루저가 있답니다. 이곳 역시 승선 후 1시간 동안 요트 체험을 할 수 있습니다.

마지막 한 곳은 수영만 요트계류장입니다. 이곳에는 개인 소유 요트 정박 장소입니다. 필자 경우, 친구가 요트 한 척을 갖고 있어 종종 요트를 탄 적이 있답니다. 

수영만에서 요트 타기 가장 좋은 때는 언제일까요? 사람마다 다르겠지만 제 경우, 선셋투어가 최고였습니다.
